Alexander Calder (1898-1976) is best known for his mobiles artwork. He introduced movement into his delicate sculptures and created a profound influence on fine arts. Calder contributed equally to the world of jewelry with his three-dimensional pieces consisting of wire, brass and steel… the results look modern and surreal and are sure to transform the wearer into a living work of art.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art presents Calder Jewelry… the first full examination of Calder’s brilliant jewelry collection. A must-see exhibit for all lovers of art and jewelry!
