Vidcat Launches Fashion Video Project

The Fashion Video Project is the online home of the Vidcat Fashion Video Archive. The growing archive features vintage and modern fashion show videos and stylish fashion films. Vidcat Documents Fashion History

VIDCAT created a collection of short historical fashion films curated from the Vidcat Fashion Video Archive. Each program documents an era of fashion, style and attitude by compiling fashion show videos, vintage newsreels and retro fashion films into visually entertaining educational programs. The video collection is an excellent resource for teachers, students and faculty to support and supplement fashion history studies. The Next Talents

During Milan Fashion Week, Vogue Italia and YOOX presened the seventh edition of THE NEXT TALENTS, a project created by Franca Sozzani and Federico Marchetti (Founder of YOOX and CEO of YOOX Net-A-Porter Group) in 2011 to promote and support young talents, which in past editions saw the debut of many famous brands such as J.W.Anderson and Aquazzura. The exhibition opened on February 22nd at Palazzo Morando, where the collections of ten international emerging talents, seven in the women's wear category, one in menswear, one in kids wear and one in design, were showcased. Moncler Grenoble Fall Winter 2017 Collection

The underlying concept and goal behind a Moncler Grenoble collection is to cover all aspects of living amidst the nature of a mountain resort during the Winter weather season. It is a creative approach to aesthetics which fuses its sources of inspiration with linearity, taking influence from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Ski suiting, men’s and women’s clothing, are laminated with a film projection on interior linings, and heat-sealed to ensure the upmost waterproofing performance. Nylon use has undergone a chintz treatment, donning Moncler’s traditional colors with focus on fire-red and sky-blue combinations. Nylon is thicker than in previous seasons with irregular surfacing.
